Calvin Klein FW 12

A collection which is very hard to pin point, one can argue this is definitely not what one expects from a label such as the usual futuristically minimal Calvin Klein, however this is a pleasantly surprising move, shouting out to Scandinavian fashion labels and borrowing from many European designers.
What we loved? The knee length skirts, the American gothic feel to the grey outfits, and the metal details. We loved the addition of the muted reds and oranges, opposed to the bright colours Calvin Klein included in the past summer seasons. This collection keeps emphasizing the direction creative director Francisco Costa is giving the brand, again focusing on sellable pieces like most NYFW brands Calvin Klein are moving towards a more European direction.
