Platinum Love is the brainchild of Matthew Attard Navarro, who is supported by an eclectic group of members; the result is a long-standing magazine which deals with all aspects of culture, be it fashion, music, art or anything else that falls under the vast umbrella term that is 'pop culture'. The magazine was the first of its kind in Malta and has been running since August 2007. A new issue is made available on the 15th of every month. Despite having its roots in Malta, Platinum Love has an international following with a major part of its readership centered in the UK and other European countries and slowly growing global. While Platinum Love explores pop culture as a global phenomenon, it has also supported it in a more localised way since the magazine's very beginning. Local talent has been recognised and promoted throughout its pages, however our aim now is to feature new talent from all over the world. As from September 2009 the magazine will take a new direction under the editorial work of Joe Fountain, and with a new website the magazine hopes to reach new territories which it never reached before.
